Meet Whitney Urquhart

Before I started my journey with Surface Pattern Design, I taught high school English for 11 years. In February 2020, I was able to retire from teaching and stay home with my newborn son.

I was completely hooked on learning more about surface pattern design and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that it was my passion and calling. After taking Immersion, EVERYTHING changed! I think the biggest thing was the focus on mindset. It was like Bonnie knew me personally because her wisdom spoke directly to my individual fears and hesitations. And from everything I gained via the course, I was able to make back almost twice what I paid for the course in products that I created and sold. 

In addition to the focus on mindset, the best part of the Immersion course was the community and the live calls. Bonnie really has a way of fostering connection amongst a group and pulling everyone in to feel included and important. A skill that I have acquired and cherish from being an Immersion student is frequently pursuing new ventures and learning opportunities. 

To somebody who’s on the fence about joining the Immersion Course, I would say, 

Be bold.

Do it.

Join the Immersion Course and you’ll be amazed at what you’re capable of. You will become part of an amazingly supportive community that is there to lift you up and learn with you. I made some amazing connections that I still talk to regularly and it’s so rewarding to see how far we’ve all come and to see what each person is doing with the skills learned from Immersion.
