Meet Tess Belke

In my life before kids I was a graphic designer at an agency, but after four years away from my professional life I was feeling disconnected and out of touch with the design world that I once found so important. I didn't know I was looking for something to reignite my creativity until I found Immersion. 

Through Bonnie and Immersion, I found a whole new way to use the skills I had! Even though I went to school for graphic design, I had no idea a career in surface design and art licensing even existed. Working through the course and interacting with the Immersion community gave me purpose again. I was able to find the creative fulfillment my life was missing without having to go back to an office job. It truly is the best of both worlds for a mother with young children with a creative itch. 
Immersion gave me the confidence to finally start my own business. I have created my first pattern collection, created a ton of patterns, illustrations, and hand lettering, built my website, created my first opt-in, and started an email list. Although I haven't started pitching yet, I have also licensed my first pattern. I have met so many amazing people and I am so proud of what I have been able to achieve by working only in the cracks of time after my kids have gone to bed.
