Meet Susan McConville-Harrer

I took the Immersion course because of my passion for drawing and painting flowers and the possibility of not having to design websites any longer. I also wanted to learn the legal side of contracts and licensing.

With an AAS in Graphic Communications, I honestly thought that I would be fast-forwarding through the Adobe Illustrator sections. I did not! Bonnie actually taught me some fascinating tools that I never knew, even with a degree in the field. 

My accomplishments are not typical. Bonnie's expression "Do one thing a day" helped me reach a 10-year dream of illustrating a book for my grandchildren. It was completed, sent to the printer, and is available for purchase. By applying Bonnie's principles, I was able to accomplish one of my goals. Designing fabric will be next.

I would say to someone on the fence about signing up for Immersion, it was worth the cost, it taught me more than I thought, and it continues to encourage and challenge me long after the course has been completed.
