Meet Stephanie Sliwinski
Before taking Immersion, I had a career in graphic design (actually it was more surface design related, but I didn’t really know that term at that time! I had always called myself a graphic designer). I eventually left working corporately and started my business as a mom of two kids under the ages of two and I started slow, steady, and consistently. I got to the point of licensing on my own and I knew that the next step I wanted to take was to learn how to create a repeat pattern and license in the world of fabric. When I first learned about Immersion, the price held me back - so much so, that I held off a year. But I’m so happy that I dove in the following year.
The best part of Immersion is Bonnie’s gentle teaching style and the fact that she meets you right where you are. You naturally pull what you need from the course no matter what level you are at. My big skill taken away from Immersion was learning that skill of creating repeat patterns - exactly what I specifically wanted to learn. My big accomplishment since completing Immersion is now being licensed with my dream fabric company and creating fabrics that others get to go on and create with.
