Meet Sarah Tommany

Before starting my journey with surface pattern design, I worked in education with children and young adults who have special education needs and disabilities. I am also a complementary therapist, and I have a small retail business too. 

I found Immersion at the start of my surface pattern design journey but made the decision to find the information that I needed on my own. A year later, I felt like I was doing okay, but recognised I had some major gaps in my learning, and I was making slow progress. Immersion was the only course I found that covered everything I wanted to learn. And it far exceeded my expectations.

The skill I acquired that I cherish the most is the ability to see the steps I need to take all the way from inspiration right through to contacting companies with my designs and portfolio. This clarity in my workflow and vision is invaluable to me.
