Meet Renee

I went to school for Graphic Design and spent one summer designing. I decided it wasn't for me when I realized I didn't have any creative freedom. I went to nursing school and didn't look back for over 10 years until I saw a post from Bonnie Christine on Instagram. It never occurred to me that I could design for myself or for fabric. I've always loved fabric and started sewing at a young age. My grandmothers, aunts, and mom all sewed clothes and quilts.

Immersion gave me the confidence to return to the world of design with a new passion. It was everything I'd hoped for and more. Bonnie is a fabulous, effective teacher and the content will prepare anyone to create surface patterns. I'm working on my second fabric collection and recently started an online shop. This year I'm looking forward to my first market and debuting a beginner quilting project.
