Meet Rebecca Woolbright
Before taking Immersion, I owned and operated a beach rental business in Hawaii. I wanted to find a course where I could learn Adobe Illustrator and be able to design our rack cards, mailers, and business cards.
I was nervous to invest the tuition for Immersion into myself and my skills. I hadn't spent that much on education in a long time, but I was hopeful that it would help our business and that I would learn something in the process. Holy moly, I never saw what was coming. I was creating more steady artwork and decided to try manufacturing my own products, sell them in our shop and wholesale them. The rest is history.
Each year something new and amazing happens in my artistic journey, and I truly believe that part of it stems from believing in myself with that initial Immersion investment. Since completing the Immersion course, I have built a wholesale and direct-to-customer business. I license my artwork on wallpaper, puzzles, home goods, and fabric. I have launched my own course guiding people through overseas manufacturing. I am actively pitching my artwork to all sorts of companies and I am beginning to see that the amount of work I put in is starting to pay off.
If you are on the fence, do it. Believe in yourself. This career takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and consistency. If you are ready to do the work and put yourself out there - the world is waiting.
