Meet Rachel Six

Before I started my journey with surface pattern design, I was working in real estate and have always been a fine artist. I took the Immersion course because I have been fascinated with pattern design my entire life. 

The only thing I was worried about before joining was if the cost of the class would be worth it, and it definitely was! After taking Immersion I became more confident as an artist and more driven to make a career out of art. I love that I now understand and feel comfortable using Illustrator and can always go back and watch a video on a tool if I need to. 

Since completing the course, I have been able to grow my stationery and lifestyle company, J6R6.  We recently licensed some of my paintings with a company and have used my vector patterns for the interior of some of our new notepads/sketchbooks.

If you are looking for some creative support and have a can-do attitude, you will never meet a more supportive and welcoming community. Everyone is so friendly and you can learn so much from other creatives. I look forward to painting and drawing more and expanding the reach of my products/customer base.
