Meet Michael Sheridan

Before discovering surface pattern design, I had been laid off from my day job as a lawyer because of COVID. When I came across Bonnie's course on surface pattern design, I was hooked. I realized that I had been a designer in some form or another my entire life.

I took Immersion 2021 to gain the skills necessary to morph my passion for art and graphic design into a career and thriving business. I conquered Illustrator and gained design knowledge and skill through the Immersion course. The community of fellow designers is a safe and non-threatening place to find one's self as a designer, to try out new designs, and to both give and receive support.

Since completing the Immersion course, I have designed 10 collections, built a website, and begun pitching my designs for licensing. I have manufactured products and added them to my website. I have also started a second business related to my legal background - helping creative entrepreneurs legalize their websites and their businesses.
