Meet Melissa Johnson

Investing in Immersion was a bit scary, as I was not producing much income as a stay-at-home mom learning to hand letter and watercolor paint (when I found time). I had opened an Etsy shop as requests for art started to pick up, but found quickly that the income did not match the amount of time I was committing to the work. 

I had an eye-opening moment when I discovered Bonnie's free pattern course, where the artwork could be used on products and licensed to create greater and more consistent income. After finding success and trust in Bonnie after that free course, I felt a strong feeling that this was the right step forward for me and wow it was! Since completing Immersion I have made wonderfully supportive creative friends, licensed patterns and collections with Loomwell Homegoods, Hawthorne Supple, Carriage House Fabrics, Dreamy Skies Baby, Ellie and Layne, Stroller Society, Bela Collective, Early Grey, Plane Baby and more in process! I would not have believed I would be here if anyone would have told me 2 years ago. Writing this gives me all the feels and I am forever grateful for the thoughtfully lined out course and community within Flourish!
