Meet Melinda Frye

Before Immersion, I was a part-time freelance graphic designer. As my teenagers got older and started driving and being more self-sufficient, I wanted to work more. I knew I wanted illustration to be a part of that. 

When I came across Immersion, it seemed to be a perfect way to combine my graphic design skills and add illustration to my skill set. The only thing that "worried" me about Immersion was the cost. After making a pros and cons list, it was obvious that it would be worth it. The value seemed obvious, and I put value on learning and saving time by working with people who are actually working in the industry. 

Since taking Immersion, I have built a website and joined Instagram, and I am close to beginning to pitch my work...  I think 2024 will be transformational and busy! 
The best part of Immersion is the mindset that Bonnie infuses within every lesson.... this IS possible; there IS room for you; if you work hard and consistently, it will happen. She has an unwavering optimism about this type of work and is so transparent about what it will take to get there and what is possible, financially and creatively.
