Meet Maria Cecilia
Before I joined the Immersion Course, I was working as an Executive Director of a nonprofit in Chile, my country of origin. After 9 years, I decided to quit and pursue my passion for art. I believed the Immersion Course was the best way to jump into launching my business.
Immersion helped me get through very sad and challenging times when my husband was diagnosed with cancer and undergoing treatment. I would take my laptop and watch the lessons in the hospital waiting room. The part I am most proud of is that I was able to complete the course within the eight weeks! I also signed up to be the Leader of a Study Group, and I was able to accomplish it as well.
An inner force moved me forward; my level of motivation was immense! And that is no more than the excellent quality of the lessons, the way they were organized, and the class materials.
Yes, I learned Adobe Illustrator, but I also learned to believe in myself.
I was able to complete three collections, my website is almost ready, and I have hired a person who is helping me with social media; I have my designs on Spoonflower and Society 6, and I have a client in Chile. I am a happy designer right now.
