Meet Joy Eno

I have worked in the graphic design industry for years and loved it, but my 2 1/2-hour commute was beginning to wear. Then I stumbled upon your Immersion course; I fell in love with surface pattern design (and the opportunity to work from home was appealing too). 

I felt like the stars were aligning. As a kid, I spent many afternoons wandering through fabric aisles while my mother flipped through pages and pages of sewing pattern books. I was enamored by all the different prints and pretty colors. Art was my passion, and I knew I wanted to work as an artist someday, but it never dawned on me that artists designed all that fabric. Suddenly it became clear that a career in surface pattern design clicked all the boxes; my love for art, schedule flexibility, and location freedom.

The Immersion course gave me the confidence to forge ahead. It's so robust and comprehensive. Bonnie has thought of everything; easy-to-follow videos, practice downloads, a team of experts and guides, community support, peer groups, business advice, and emotional support! 

My journey has been slow but steady; however, I have completed two collections, and the third is well on its way. This year's goals include completing my third collection and beginning the process of pitching to clients. I realize that challenges will present themselves during this next phase, but I am prepared, and knowing I am not alone in these tough moments will be huge! My path may include a few detours, but success is right around the corner; I can feel it!
