Meet Jennifer Labre

Prior to taking Immersion, I felt a bit lost as a creative. When I discovered Bonnie Christine and surface pattern design I knew I had to take Immersion; it felt like a calling to something greater. I had used Adobe Illustrator for years, so I wasn't sure it would teach me a whole lot. But I was wrong. Bonnie was an amazing teacher, and Immersion was so much more than an Illustrator course. For me, it was a lifestyle change. 

I immersed myself in designing patterns, building a portfolio, developing my style, and eventually pitching my work. Success eventually came and recently, I am thrilled to share, I was offered a contract for a fabric line with my designs making their debut in Fall 2023. I've had other successes too and I look forward to many more to come. I feel like I have finally found what makes my creative heart sing. And I can't wait to see what the future holds.

I am so thankful that I have found Bonnie Christine. She is the mentor that I cherish and a friend from afar. Taking Immersion and joining Flourish are some of the best decisions I could have made and I look forward to a promising future as a surface pattern designer. Thanks Bonnie and team!
