Meet Giulia Marsili

When I discovered Bonnie and surface pattern design it was the end of 2020. I had just been fired from my day job in marketing and I was feeling the need to reconnect with the creative part of myself.

For me, the best parts of the course are the Illustrator modules and the existence and presence of the community. The course taught me so much and also connected me to a whole new world filled with positive, kind, helpful, creative, and funny people, who are still my friends after 2 years. 

When I finished Immersion I came out feeling like there was room for me in the surface pattern design world and that my art was worth it, even if it was not perfect. To someone who's on the fence, I'd say: Go for it. You won't regret it!
