Meet Elizabeth Donaldson

Immersion completely opened my world up to the possibility of being a creative entrepreneur. Bonnie took a daunting program like Illustrator and broke it down into simple, digestible steps. The program has completely changed my life! 

Before I embarked on this glorious journey of surface pattern design, I worked for an outdoor retail company for 12 years. I quit my job in 2021 with the hopes of starting a greeting card company. I had never heard of surface pattern design and was eager to learn a new skill to help with designing prints and cards, so I signed up for the Immersion Course. Little did I know, it would open my eyes to a whole new world of design that went beyond just greeting cards and prints.

Since taking the course, I have officially registered my business and launched my first collection of holiday greeting cards. I walk through the world with different eyes now, paying attention to patterns around me and constantly seeking inspiration. I feel a part of a community that is filled with wonderful and kind creatives who can lean on each other for support, feedback, and celebration. I truly believe that there is room for me, and by doing one thing a day, I can legitimately accomplish my biggest dreams.
