Meet Debby Lightman Casher

I loved the Immersion course. It was the best gift I had given myself - to finally learn the skills I’ve always wanted to learn. To be able to connect with such a supportive and inspiring community was an absolute bonus. Bonnie’s teaching style is incredible and easy to follow. 

Before taking Immersion, I was working in schools teaching mindfulness to students and teachers. I am a psychologist, but I’ve always had the dream of being an artist. I didn’t go to art school though and never knew it would be possible. 

When I learned about Immersion, I did not hesitate. I love learning new skills so I figured that even if I just learn something new for a fun hobby, I would be happy. Less than a year later, I knew Adobe Illustrator well enough to become licensed as a surface pattern designer for a fabric company! And within the following year, I received two more licensing contracts, quit my day job, and now I’m living my dream of working as a full-time artist. I’ve been a guest on podcasts and interviewed about my business for magazines! It’s truly a dream come true!
