Meet Chelsea Jay

The Immersion 2021 experience was such a beautifully aesthetic environment to be in, it felt like such an inspirational treat every time I watched the content. 

Before Immersion, I had spent 10 years miserably working in administration roles, not realizing how much creativity was missing from my life. Surface pattern design was exactly what I had been looking for. I joined Immersion to level up in a whole new way. 

Immersion gave me the encouragement and confidence to start sharing my work. Not long after the course, I received my first inquiry via Instagram from a small business that was interested in licensing a design. While we discussed the license, I was able to refer back to Immersion for information about pricing and contracts. 

Knowing that I had a community of support allowed me to push through the imposter syndrome and that licensing deal was a dream come true. We now have an ongoing working relationship and in the very near future, I will be able to walk into a clothing boutique and see clothes made from fabrics that I have designed!
