Meet Carissa Bordeleau

Before I started my journey with surface pattern design, I was painting, illustrating, and trying to find my ultimate creative outlet. I explored surface design through some of Bonnie’s other lessons and was motivated to learn more of Bonnie’s best practices.

The price of the Immersion Course held me back the first year, but it was well worth it once I took the course. I’ve acquired advanced Illustrator skills and cherish the supportive Immersion community. Bonnie's people are my people! Her meaningful approach to collection creation has helped keep me present during the creative process, see greater beauty in the world, and efficiently create multiple collections.

The Immersion Course has cut a clear path to success, and I’m confident that I’ll achieve my goal of getting licensed. I’ve gained confidence in my technical abilities and the road to being successful in this industry. I no longer have a scarcity mindset, but a mindset of abundance. My top licensing companies have now expressed interest in my work. I'm trusting and enjoying the creative process, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!
