Meet Ashley Paggi

Before I started my Surface Pattern Design journey, I was a stay at home mom and a graphic designer with 15 years of corporate design experience under my belt. I needed to go back into the workforce after a 5 year hiatus and really didn't want to do the same thing I had been doing before. I needed flexibility to be there for my 2 young daughters but also wanted the fulfillment of having a creative career of my own again. I had lost a lot of confidence after taking such a long "mom" break and didn't quite know how to start over.

As soon as I saw an advertisement for Immersion, I knew it was the right path, I signed up after only 2 days of consideration. After Immersion 2020, I felt so much more confident in my ability to have my own creative career and I dove head first into creating a body of artwork that I could be proud of. It took me a bit of experimentation and warming up, but once I started, I couldn't stop making artwork. It felt so wonderful to be creative in a way that projected my own voice into the world instead of always trying to please a client. And it felt even better to be a part of such a lovely creative community.

I've made some of my best friends in this group and we're all about supporting each other in our biggest dreams. If you're considering taking Immersion, trust your gut. If you put in the work, you won't be disappointed! In two years since taking immersion, I've been able to turn this passion of mine into a full time career and I'm still coming back for more of Bonnie's content because it is so life giving and encouraging. I've been licensed in many industries including fabric, children's clothing, home decor and the outdoor industry.
