Meet Mihaela Valchanova

Before starting my journey with surface pattern design I was working in the big city trying to make ends meet. I was feeling miserable and unsatisfied with how the days were just passing me by in a 9 to 5 job.

Then one lucky day I came across Bonnie's 60x60 video. It lit up every little cell in my body and filled it with colors and ideas I had never thought of before! I knew I had to be part of Immersion 2023 as I hadn't felt that creative fire in me for many years. 

My initial worries were whether I was going to have the finances and time to make it happen, but all that was put to ease when I saw the payment plans, including LIFETIME access to the course,  which meant that I could fit it around my schedule, and watch the recorded lessons any time! 

For me, the best part of Immersion was the community of artists who were very supportive and constantly shared their love and advice. That made me want to be a better person myself and extend that type of love to my friends and family. I also loved the live sessions and looked forward to watching the replays every weekend. 

Before joining Immersion, I had little experience working on Illustrator, but now I can create pattern designs and so much more! I have taken on a small project to design business cards and a logo for my friend's business- something I never thought I could do!
